Mexican drug cartel Jalisco New Generation is blamed for a brazen assassination attempt on Mexico City's chief of police. The 30 assassins, disguised as road workers opened fire in one of the city's posh avenues. Two bodyguards and one passerby died in the attack. Dozen suspects have been detained.
